Gardai are appealing for help in identifying a man suspected of sexually assaulting a teenager in Macroom in March last year
The attack happened on the 29th of March 2024 as the teenage girl was walking through the town heading towards the local gym
She first spotted the man on Castle Street and became aware he was following her before he attacked her in a hotel corridor at the rear of the gym
Speaking to RedFM News Inspector Anthony Harrington from Macroom Garda Station describes the man
"The man was a white male in his 20's or 30's, he had black hair and tight facial hair. He was wearing a black pullover type hoodie with a a red Liverpool training top underneath his hoodie. He had grey/black work pants, and he was wearing white Nike runners with a black tick"
