A stage and large screen are being mounted in Macroom so locals can tune in to see Bambie Thug's performance in Sweden tomorrow night
The Macroom native is representing Ireland in the final of the Eurovision
Supporters are being encouraged to dress in green, white and gold as organisers hope to send live footage from the town to the song contest in Malmo
Bambie Thug was a student on the dance programme at Cork College of FET in 2013
Course Director Jane Kelleghen told RedFM News that Bambie was always destined for success
"I always did think that Bambie had a very strong leaning towards classical dance and a lot of ability in all dance styles. A very gentle person, very amenable and easy to work with. But that particular group of students were very talented and creative"
