A man and a woman appeared before a special sitting of Cork District Court yesterday evening.
The court appearance was in relation to a burglary at a house on Skehard Road at around half past 10 on Friday evening.
A large sum of cash was taken from the property.
A short time later, a man in his late 30s and a woman in her late 20s, were arrested - carrying a number of items from the burglary.
