Man (30s) Remains In Hospital This Evening After He Was Found Collapsed On A City Road In The Early Hours Of This Morning

A man in his late 30s remains in hospital this evening after he was found collapsed on a city road in the early hours of this morning.

The Irish Examiner reports that emergency services were called to the scene at Carr's Hill at around 4 o'clock this morning.

The man, who is originally from Eastern Europe, was treated at the scene and taken to CUH for injuries to his upper leg.

The man was reportedly intoxicated and unable to explain what happened.

However, the paper is reporting that Gardaí have ruled out a hit-and-run incident.

In a statement to RedFM News, Garda Press say the man is being treated for his injuries and that their investigations are ongoing.
