Detectives from Mayfield raided a house in the Riverstown area of Glanmire yesterday.
Gardaí discovered 22 suspected cannabis plants at various stages of growth worth around €16,000 and seized around €32,800 of cannabis herb.
A man was arrested at the scene and was detained at Mayfield Garda Station overnight.
He has been charged in connection with the seizure and is due to appear before the District Court this morning.
The operation was part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the city
