The man was rushed to Cork University Hospital on Tuesday the 18th of April following the incident.
The man was rushed to CUH at around 1pm on the day of the incident after suffering severe burns following a titanium fire on the roof of the American multi-national's Anngrove building.
He underwent emergency surgery and was on life support.
His family released at a statement following the fire, describing him as a kind, mild mannered family man with a loving baby, young child and step-son who were his world.
RedFM News has contacted Stryker and the HSA for comment.
