A man in his 50s has been arrested in Youghal in after the discovery of human remains at a house in the town.
The remains were found during the investigation into the murder of Tina Satchwell.
Skeletal remains were found at the house in the centre of Youghal town this morning by Gardaí investigating the murder of Tina Satchwell, who was reported missing on the 24th of March 2017.
DNA samples have been taken and Gardai are seeking to identify the bones by cross referencing the sample against their database
Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster visited the scene this morning as did a Forensic Anthropologist.
A man arrested in connection with the investigation on Tuesday evening was released without charge yesterday evening.
It’s not yet known where exactly the remains were discovered.
