A man in his 60s has died in a car crash in Skibbereen.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at Drishanebeg in Skibbereen this afternoon.
The single-vehicle accident happened at approximately half past.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
Forensic Collision Investigators conducted a technical examination of the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses of the crash to contact them, including any road users who were travelling through the area around that time and may have camera (including dash cam) footage.
