The man accused of murdering Deepa Dinamani at a house in Cork city earlier this month is due in court again next month.
41-year-old Regin Rajan of Cardinal Court, Wilton, Cork city appeared before Cork District Court today via video link.
Sgt John Kelleher told Judge Olann Kelleher that a substantial file is to be compiled due to the nature of the incident.
Judge Kelleher remanded Rajan in continuing custody until the 28th of August for DPP directions.
The body of 38-year-old Deepa Dinamani was discovered at a house in Wilton on the night of Friday the 14th of July.
Rajan was arrested at the scene and appeared before a special sitting of Cork District Court on the following Sunday, charged with the murder of the mother of one.
