Gardaí have seized €60,000 worth of cannabis in Cobh, along with a quantity of cash as part of Operation Tara
During the seizure in the East Hill area of Cobh, a man in his late teens was arrested and taken to Cobh Garda Station for questioning
€9,000 in cash was also recovered at the scene yesterday after Gardai attached to the Midleton District Drugs Unit carried out the search of the house
The man who was arrested for questioning has since been released without charge and a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions
Investigations are ongoing.
