A man in his late 30s has been arrested and charged in relation to a burglary in North Cork yesterday.
Gardaí in Mallow responded to reports of a possible break-in at a house in the Liscarroll area and carried out an immediate search of the area.
The man was found hiding in a nearby field and was in possession of items that had been stolen from the house.
He was taken to Mallow Garda station and will appear in court this morning.
