Gardaí received a report of smashed windows at a pharmacy on Oliver Plunkett Street shortly before 4:30am this morning.
Officers from Anglesea Street arrived and found someone was inside the store.
A man in his late 20 was arrested and brought to the Bridewell Garda Station where he is currently being detained.
