Francis Dunne was killed on the 28th of December 2019.
Gardaí arrested the man, who is in his late 20s, and of Romanian nationality, on foot of a European Arrest Warrant .
The arrest occured shortly before 4 o'clock this afternoon in Dublin at Airport.
He is expected to appear before a Special Court Sitting this evening.
