65 year old Patrick Kieran of Killala Gardens, Knocknaheeny was released on bail following his appearance at Cork District Court today.
Gardaí from the Gurranabraher District Drugs Unit searched a house on the northside of the city on Friday and seized €111,700 worth of cocaine and €18,000 worth of cannabis resin.
Patrick Kieran was charged with six offences as a result of the seizure.
Gardaí said they had no objection to bail once Kieran follow a number of conditions including that he sign on at Gurranebraher Garda Station daily, abide by a curfew and surrender his passport.
Sgt Gearoid Davis applied for a remand until November 29th for the DPP's directions and Judge Olann Kelleher remanded Kieran on bail on the four bail terms to appear in court again on that date.
He also granted him free legal aid.
