A man has been charged in connection with the death of an 82-year-old woman in Carrigaline.
The elderly woman died in hospital on Tuesday following an incident at a house in Kilmoney on Sunday.
A man in his 30's was arrested to be questioned by Gardaí .
He is due to appear before Cork District Court this morning.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí said:
"The man, aged in his 30s arrested in relation to the death of a woman in her 80s following an incident at a residential property in Carrigaline, Co. Cork on Sunday 23rd February, 2025 has been charged.
He is due to appear before Cork District Court, court number 1, this morning Thursday 27th February, 2025 at 10.30am.
Investigations ongoing."
