A man has been charged in relation to a stabbing incident in Killeens early on Sunday morning.
A man in his thirties was treated at the scene for apparent stab wounds and was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital.
His injures are not thought to be life threatening.
The man charged in his 20s and will appear before a sitting of Cork district Court this morning after being questioned under Section 4 of the Criminal justice act and subsequently charged.
Investigations are ongoing.
