41 year old Daniel Weavers of Castletreasure in Douglas appeared before Cork District Court last November on a single charge of sending a menacing message from his phone in the city on the 18th of October 2021.
The British national was not in court today as he was not required to appear.
Judge Olann Kelleher remanded him on continuing bail until his next appearance on the 23rd of February.
Weavers was arrested by Special Branch Detectives with the support of the Armed Support Unit.
It's understood he was arrested after Gardaí were contacted by police in the UK
