Man charged with murder of Matthew Healy (89) due before Cork District Court again later this month

30 year old Dylan Magee of Number 30, Churchfield Green, Cork City appeared at Cork District Court via video link this morning.

Dylan Magee stands charged with one count of murdering Matthew Healy at Room 2, St Joseph’s Ward, Mercy University Hospital, Cork city on the 22^nd of January,

Today in court, Sergeant Gearóid Davis said the state is awaiting directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Judge Joanne Carroll remanded Dylan Magee in continuing custody at Cork Prison.

He’s due to appear before the court again via video link on Monday the 27^th of February.
