A man charged with murdering his wife at their home in the city in 2023 is due to stand trial in two weeks.
42-year-old Regin Rajan of Cardinal Court, Wilton, Cork City appeared at a sitting of the Central Criminal court in Cork today.
Defence Barrister Paula McCarthy said experts are currently analyzing Deepa Dinamani's phone and weighing up whether witnesses from India would give evidence in person or via video link.
Ms McCarthy also said Rejin, Rajan was having difficulty accessing a laptop in prison to review disclosure documents, which she says he wants to review in full before the trial, which she said is expected to take three weeks.
Mr. Justice Paul McDermott said a lot of disclosure would not be relevant to the accused, and he was not there to micromanage people's access to computers.
38 year old, mother of one and Chartered Accountant Deepa Dinamani, who was originally from Kerala in India, was found dead at her home on the 14th of July 2023.
