A man who was arrested at Cork Airport yesterday as part of operation led by Gardai into organised crime is due in court later.
Yesterday personnel attached to the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested the man at the Airport and a premises was searched in Co.Tipperary.
The arrested man was subsequently detained for questioning at Gurranabraher Garda Station for alleged involvement in providing false or misleading information or documentation in connection with a passport application.
The man has since been charged with two offences and is due in court in court today .
