A man in his 40s is due in court in the city later this morning in relation to an incident at a bar in Douglas at the weekend.
Gardaí were called to the Briar Rose Bar on Saturday after 6pm following reports that a man injured two staff members with a knife.
A man in his early 40s was arrested at the scene and taken to Togher Garda Station for questioning.
The two staff members received superficial wounds and were treated by paramedics at the scene.
In a statement to RedFM News, Garda Press say a man in his 40s is due before Cork District Court at 10:30am
