A man in his 30s is expected to appear before a sitting of Cork District today charged in connection with a seizure of suspected cannabis worth in excess of €30,000 in Ballyphehane on Tuesday.
The drugs were seized in the course of a planned search operation involving Gardaí and Revenue Customs of the house in the city.
In a statement to RedFM news Gardai say a man his 30s was arrested and is being held at the Bridewell Garda Station.
The investigation is ongoing.
