Gardaí from Watercourse Road responded to reports of a possible burglary at the pub on Thomas Davis Street.
A window had been smashed and a number of bottles of alcohol had been taken.
A man in his 20s was found a short distance away and arrested.
He's currently being held at Mayfield Garda Station.
