A man in his 50's who crashed his motorbike in Buttevant last night is being treated for serious injuries.
A section of the Cork to Limerick road remains closed after the single collision.
The motorcyclist was involved in a collision at around half past 10 last night.
It happened on the N20 main Cork to Limerick Road at Buttevant.
Gardai and emergency services arrived on the scene and a man in his 50's was taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
The road is closed and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have dash cam footage to come forward to them.
