A man in his 50's has died after he was involved in an accident while working on a farm in White's Cross.
Gardai were alerted to the scene just outside the northside of the city at around 1.50pm yesterday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
According to a report in the examiner the man was originally from Tralee and the Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation into his death.
