A man has died following a single vehicle collision in Cork.
The man, who was in his 70s, was the only occupant of the car which crashed on the R612 at Aghamarta in Crosshaven at around 4:20pm this afternoon.
He was subsequently taken to Cork University Hospital but died a short time later.
The road remains closed to allow a technical examination take place and Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
