A man remains in a critical condition following an explosion at a roof at Stryker in Carrigtwohill.
The incident happened at about 1pm on Tuesday afternoon at the company's Anngrove building that saw the 41 year old suffer severe burns, he underwent emergency surgery at Cork University Hospital and remains on life support.

A second man involved in the incident was treated at CUH for non life threatening injuries.
Trade union SIPTU have written to Stryker requesting an urgent meeting following the incident, and is calling for a full safety review to be carried out.
