A man suffered head injuries after a fall from an accommodation block on Model Farm Road in the early hours of this morning
Gardaí, the national ambulance service and fire crews responded to Eden Hall accommodation where the man was found in a critical condition.
He was rushed to Cork University Hospital for medical treatment.
Speaking to RedFM News, Victor Shine from Cork City Fire Brigade says crews were alerted to the incident shortly after 4.30am this morning:
"When the crews from Anglesea Street got to the scene they found a male on the ground, and medical aid was rendered to the casualty in assistance with HSE. The casualty was transferred to Cork University Hospital for medical intervention."
