A status Yellow wind and rain warning will be in place for Cork and the rest of Munster from 6pm.

Met Éireann says winds will be particularly strong around the coast from today until Friday.
Flood barriers in Fermoy are being put up this evening by the County Council, while Cork City Council say they do not expect any tidal flooding in the city over the coming days.
