A Midleton audiologist says he felt compelled to help a young Ukrainian boy who was forced to flee to Ireland with his mother.
Nine year old Matvii from Odessa was diagnosed with severe hearing difficulties and wasn’t able to receive treatment due to the Russian invasion.
The young boy struggled to adapt to life in Ireland and had issues with the language barrier due to his hearing difficulties.
