A business owner in Midleton says her insurance will not cover the damage caused to her hair salon.
Chest-high water blew in the large front window of HS2 on the town’s main street yesterday and destroyed the salon.
A clean up operation is continuing this morning and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is due to meet with people impacted by the flooding this afternoon.
Laurie O’Donnell told RedFM News that the community is struggling to come to terms with what has happened:
