64 modular homes will be built to house Ukrainian refugees in Mahon.
The Echo report that a programme from the OPW and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth will house 2,000 Ukrainians nationally.
Mahon is one of the first three sites announced as part of the ptorgame, along with Cavan Town and Thurles.
The modular homes in Mahon will be in the Ballinure area, and are expected to house approximately 250 people.
