The Council is welcoming the news of increased footfall

Cork City Council say some of the changes that have been made in the City Centre in the wake of Covid-19 have encouraged people to visit the City.

The increase in outdoor seating areas has been credited with increasing footfall, while plans are afoot for the transformation and pedestrianisation of other City Centre areas.

Speaking to RedFM News, Director of Services and Operations Director at Cork City Council David Joyce says every business is benefiting from the changes:
