The incident between a truck and a motorbike happened on the R617 between Tower and Blarney before 1pm today.
The scene was closed for a forensic investigation and has since reopened.
Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage from the area to contact them in Gurranabraher on 021 494 62 00.
