A man in his 40's was fatally injured in a crash in Ballydesmond this morning.
The crash between a motorcycle and a truck happened at Toureenfineen shortly before 8 o'clock.
The man's body will be removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place.
The road remains closed at this time and local diversions are in operation
He has become the third motorcyclist to be killed on Cork roads in just four days
