A multi million euro expansion of MTU in Cork City is set to be announced today.
The Irish Examiner report that Further and Higher Education Minister Simon Harris will unveil details of a major expansion and refurbishment of several of the main buildings on the campus, which will cater for up to 1, 500 additional students.
It’s also believed that Simon Harris will announce that the Cork Education and Training Board’s Bishopstown Campus will be upgraded into a digital further education centre to become a ‘college of the future’.
