MTU Cork Students Union says there’s not enough parking on campus for the amount of students who have to drive to college.

Munster Technological University has introduced a new park and ride service with 100 spaces.

The Students Union says the lack of accommodation and good bus routes to MTU means students have no other option than to drive.

MTU Students Union President Isobel Kavanagh, says the new service will stop students stressing about parking:

"There's definitely more students driving than parking here, and it was effecting students mental health not being sure if they were going to get a space and make college on time."

The new free of charge MTU Park & Ride service begins today! 🚌
