Musicians from around the world have been arriving in the city for the Cork Jazz Festival.
This weekend marks the 44th anniversary of the world-famous annual music event.
RedFM will be broadcasting live from the Metropole Hotel today from 4 with Dave Mac’s Drive.
Colm O’Sullivan will also be savouring the atmosphere live on air from 10am tomorrow morning at the Metropole.
Speaking to RedFM News, chairperson of the Cork Jazz Festival, Fiona Collins gave a sample of what’s instore this Jazz Weekend:
"Have the sounds of about a thousand musicians over five days in Cork which is just phenomenal. You have a headline venues, The Everyman, The Opera House, Triskel, St. Luke's and Cyprus Avenue and the Metropole. So it's just great to have such a wide array of jazz over the weekend."
