The Government will launch its revised, 165 billion euro National Development Plan in the city this afternoon.
Cabinet Ministers are gathering in Páirc Uí Chaoimh to to sign off on the plan for capital spending over the next decade.
It's expected to commit to BusConnects for Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford and to Dublin's Metrolink.
It's also commits to building the Cork Limerick M20 motorway and to a repackaged Northern Ring Road as part of the Cork Northern Transport Project.
