In an update today, the team behind the upgrade scheme say the roads will be opened by 10am on Sunday.
Most of the traffic lights at Dunkettle will be removed, with just the lights at the northwest corner of the Interchange staying in place until November.
Motorists are being asked to pay particular attention to directional signage and are reminding people that speed control measures will be in place over the coming weeks.
