New staff will begin work at Dunmanway swimming pool over the next week, after two years of limited opening hours at the pool.
The new staff are expected to be inducted next week following a dedicated appeal by users of the pool to Cork County Council.
While the pandemic led to restricted hours, staff shortages meant the pool was unable to return to normal working hours unlike other Cork County Council facilities.
