A brand new Urgent & Express Cardiac Care Clinic has been opened at the Bons Secours Hospital in Cork.
The new clinic is to provide GPs with a service to fast track patients who require urgent assessment and treatment.
A one-of-a-kind cardiology helpline is also available for GPs through the new clinic.
Dr. Keith Morrice, director of cardiology at the Bons says the new service is an exciting development for the hospital and great to have a new pathway of care.
