The No Swim Notice for the Warren Beach in Rosscarbery has been lifted.
The notice was issued at the beach earlier this week due to the discovery of high levels of E.coli in the water.
Cork County Council say test results now show the water quality status has been restored to 'excellent'
The decision made to re-open Warren Beach was based on scientific data from Cork County Council’s laboratory in Inniscarra, as well as on the professional advice from its staff, and colleagues in the HSE.
