A number of newly announced grants have been awarded for walkways in West Cork.
The funding forms part of the "Our Rural Future" policy - the Government's plan to regenerate rural areas so that they attract both residents and businesses.
Community groups who manage the trails will receive the grants to to maintain and improve their local trails, and promote thier use to visitors.
The amounts awarded to West Cork trails range from 2,800 euro to 68,600 euro.
