The West Cork rower completed the five year degree this year and hopes to train as an orthopaedic surgeon in the future.
Paul attended today’s graduation with his family and says he will spend the next few weeks before his internship begins getting back to the best physical shape.
He told RedFM News how he was able to juggle being a high performance athlete and a medical student:
