Ten wheelbarrows of apples were stolen from the orchard at St. Benedict's Priory in the town on Friday.
The Office of Public Works heard about it - and decided to answer the nuns' prayers by delivering six boxes of apples as a replacement.
The fruit is a key source of income for the nuns, who use it to make chutney and cakes.
