The Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works will be in Dunmanway tomorrow morning visiting some of the worst affected areas in the region to see the damage caused by last week's intense rainfall.
It comes as Cork County Council say they're continuing to monitor the situation in Rosscarbery and other areas in West Cork affected by flash flooding as ongoing unseasonable wet and windy weather is forecast this week.
Millions of euros of damage has been caused to roads in the area particularly along the N71 and in Rathbarry, Dunmanway and Bantry.
Meanwhile localised flooding is being reported in some areas of Cork today such as Little Island.
