Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Padraig Harrington says joining the Gardaí it is not an attractive career choice anymore:
"If my nephew came to me and said 'Is the Guards a good job to join?' I would say 'Stay away from it'. If you joined after 2013, you simply will not be able to survive when you are forced to retire at 60 years of age, because you will be on less than the old age pension".
