Over €5 million has been allocated in supports this year for higher education institutes across Cork.
Nationally €38 million is being made available for the coming academic year by the Minister for Further and Higher Education.
The allocations to UCC and Munster Technological Univesity which combined amounts to €5.5 million, will allow higher institutions address a number of key capital investment priorities including minor works and equipment needs.
