Parents of children with additional needs are staging a protest outside the Department of Education.
They’re calling for more special education places to ensure their children get an appropriate education.
The parents are gathering outside now, and expect to remain there until tomorrow afternoon.
Particular concern has been raised about children with special needs in Youghal where there are 16 classes for autistic children across 5 primary schools but just 3 special education classes in Youghal's Secondary School.
